Gravatar tutorial

Gravatars are very basic to set up.  New users can register for an account by using their email address (or several email addresses), and upload your image to be associated with the account.  All to often the incorrect email address is used in the comment field and your image will not appear once you leave a comment.  When you own a gravatar and you are an active commenter on blogs or sites (that are enabled with gravatars) it’s very important that you plan ahead on what emails you will be leaving behind in the comment field. Remember the avatar recognizes the email address in your account.  If you don’t use the correct email address, then in it’s place it will be a default image, basically Casper the ghost!  Read more... Gravatar (an abbreviation for globally recognized avatar) is a service for providing globally-unique avatars which was created by Tom Preston-Werner.

On Gravatar, users can register an account based on their email address, and upload an avatar to be associated with the account. Gravatar plugins are available for popular blogging software; when the user posts a comment on such a blog that requires an e-mail address, the blogging software checks whether that e-mail address has an associated avatar at Gravatar. If so, the Gravatar is shown along with the comment. Gravatar support is provided natively in WordPress as of v2.5  and Redmine web based project management application beginning with version 0.8 (2008-12-07) . The starting price will be 75,900 baht, with an annual sales target of 10,000 units. The launching and test-drive will take place at “Big Fun Fest by Honda” at Rajamangala National Stadium (Hua Mark) on October 30.

After the Yamaha, Hero Honda & TVS  Bajaj Auto also doing the same colour change in their Pulsar 180 & 200. New Metallic Orange color (that changes shades in the sunlight) for their Pulsar .

Bajaj Auto has without doubt been the most conservative with the color options for its bikes. When other manufacturer’s demand premium of around 2-3K’s just for some color options, Bajaj has just provided 4 staple colors (Black, Blue, Red & Silver) for its Pulsar range for the last 4-5 years.  Read more... Safety Tips for Biking

These are some of the safety tips which I have gained through mine or
someone else’s experiences. You may already know some of them but it
is good to get refreshed…

1. [Vision] Wear proper eye safety gear at night, so that the Lights of incoming vehicles don’t flash right into your eyes. When buying shades try buying those through which you can look at the sun straight for 1 min or so. Wear clear glasses at night at any case, chances are that a insect might hit you in the eye… Our hand’s natural reflex is to rub the eye and imagine doing so while whistling at a speed of 100kms in middle of a highway!  Read more...
