Mukutmanipur Trip By Caravan Biking
Kolkata to Mukutmanipur
A fully sudden last moment decision and to cheer up the bad mood we the Caravan bikers decided to move towards Mukutmanipur as our 31st ride. Specially i took decision only 4hours ago. We started at about 4:30 in the morning having our Leader Jeet Roy. Others are Navonil, Jaydeep and Me. As usual we took NH2 upto panagar, shortly tea break at Hindushan hotel. Captured the magial moments ot sun rise. Then we entered Durgapur and last Bakura through SH9. Roads were like racing track indeed. At every zigzag we all took beautiful cornering. At about 11 am we reached to our destination. Mean while we had our combo breakfast and lunch at Panagar. We were very lucky coz lots of people came to have a picnic near mukutmanipur dam. We visited the whole dam on our bikes. We then srarted back at 2pm nd without any stop came to a dhaba near burdwan. It was unbelieveable hot such on 31st in Bakura. Finally got bak sucessfully at abt 9:15 pm. The most eligent & cool journey made by the Caravans on 31st deember 2011.

It was raining heavily … red alert is declared in almost every district in west Bengal … the time was 13th -15th August ,this year (2011). All the dams ware flooded with massive water pressure … and every day they are realising thousands of cusec water for the protective measure of the dams. The heavy rain for as long as 10 days and these extra water from the dams like Maithon and Panchet … totally makes the life miserable for the all in West Bengal. Everybody ware afraid even for getting out from their houses. Many of the houses ware under the water. That was the platform of our Maithon trip…

After so much dilemma Yamaha introduced the R15 Ver 2.0 . But certainly it’s not the answer to Honda Cbr 250 R but it will hit the sale of Pulser 220 directly . Because now a days P220 is very common and Cbr 250 and Ninja 250 is still out of reach for common people . So it is the right choice between P220 and CBR in terms of price range. The refreshing new look of R15 will certainly attract the new generation college going students but still it’s not a tourer at all.

How to do Running in or engine Break in for Indian Bikes ?
Most of new buyers got excited at the time of taking delivery of recent High performance bikes and always eager to ride them as hard as possible at the beginning . But its really important for every bike to follow a strict running in or break in process.
Step 1:
Drain Engine oil immediately at the time of taking delivery and always use a mineral based engine oil for that Time. For most of the Indian bikes you can use MOTUL 3000 4T Plus in this time.
